Vehicle Hold Deposit Agreement

By submitting a $500 deposit, you agree to the following terms:
1. Vehicle Hold Period
Your $500 deposit reserves the selected vehicle for a maximum of three (3) business days from the date and time the deposit is received and confirmed by [Your Dealership Name]. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
2. Completion of Purchase
To complete the purchase, the remaining balance (total vehicle price plus applicable taxes, title, registration, documentation fees, and any selected add-ons) must be paid in full within the 3-business-day hold period. If full payment is not received by the end of the 3rd business day, the hold automatically expires and the vehicle will be made available for sale to other customers.
3. Non-Refundable Deposit
The $500 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to changes in your personal situation, inability to secure financing, or deciding not to purchase the reserved vehicle.
4. Transferability
If you choose not to purchase the reserved vehicle, the $500 deposit may be transferred and applied as a credit toward the purchase of any other in-stock vehicle at [Your Dealership Name] provided the new vehicle is purchased within 30 calendar days of the original deposit date. After 30 days, any unused deposit will be forfeited with no further credit or refund available.
5. No Obligation to Sell
Placement of a deposit does not obligate [Your Dealership Name] to sell the vehicle at the advertised price if the price was listed in error, the vehicle is found to have undisclosed damage during pre-sale inspection, or the vehicle is sold to another customer who completes full payment before your deposit is received.
6. Acknowledgment
I understand and agree that this $500 deposit is non-refundable (except as outlined in the transfer policy above), secures the vehicle for only three (3) business days, and that time is of the essence. I have read and accept all terms stated above.
